Giclée is a French term meaning "to spray forcefully." The cornerstone of the Giclée process is the enhanced Iris digital ink-jet printer which has been specifically modified for fine art precision. The printer uses a continuos tone technology in which infinitely small pixels of color are capable of rendering and amazingly smooth and consistent image. Some of the most archival inks and substances available have been used in these prints, the result is museum quality.
