Cameron McCool’s work explores the human form and psyche.  There is a dialogue between the mark-making and the subject being revealed, taking on different techniques depending on the tools required to grasp at the heart of his figures; finding beauty in the path and execution.

Cameron graduated with a masters in painting from the New York Academy of Art and taught at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston while running his own figure drawing workshops.

He now lives in the Pacific Northwest.
